Start here,
As if slates could be clean; closets, suitcases, memories
Could really be made free of all our pasts debris
but secure of all our futures valuables.

Sometimes it's what you lock away so deep
returning in search to find the missing link.

Only to realize, it was the key you never asked to keep,
the question you were afraid to ask,
the statement you never cleared your throat to answer,
the towel you never should have thrown in or the white flag you never raised...
